He is an EXIM Consultant and Chartered Engineer with 2.5 decades of experience in Supply Chain, Shipping & Logistics. Primarily started as Excel Maritime and Logistics in the year 2006, now crowned as Excel Group of Companies which is headquartered in Chennai, India and has 14 branch offices across India. The Company also operates across the Globe at 15 locations which include Srilanka, Malaysia, Indonesia and China to name a few.
Excel Maritime and Logistics an ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Certified company, handles more than 2 lakh tons of cargo in addition to special cargos every year and is one of the largest Logistics companies in India. The company won The Best Navigator Award, by Times Group in 2012. Other significant recognitions include Best Project Cargo Mover and C&F Agent awarded by South East - Cargo & Logistics Awards and was listed among the Top 10 Most Promising companies in Logistics by Silicon Magazine.

He had a humble beginning as a student of a Panchayat Union Government School from BHEL, Trichy. With hard work and perseverance, he rose to be a first-generation entrepreneur in a short period.
He is an engineering graduate and holds a Masters in Business Administration, Science, Marketing Management, Foreign Trade and Export Management. Being educated from a Panchayat School to one of the most prestigious institutions of our country, Birla Institute of Technology (Pilani), he sets out an example that hard work can lead to heights.

His commitment towards social and economic upliftment is highly commendable inspiring thousands of Rotarians, students and youngsters. Over the last 30 + years, he has trained and motivated over a million students on a highly engaging powerful thought ... "Dare to Change! Dare to Shape!".
He holds significant positions as The Correspondent of BHEL Tamil Medium Middle School & St.Joseph's School, Trichy & Governing Board Member of Spastic Children's Society, Trichy.
As part of Corporate Social Responsibility, he started The Excel Foundation, a non-profitable charitable trust that does noteworthy services to the less fortunate and needy. The foundation addresses issues like hunger, health, education and well being of children, youth and senior citizens. It has adopted a spastic children's home to help special children with occupational therapies and treatment. It has launched coaching centres that support educational scholarships to physically challenged, accident survivors and students from weak economic backgrounds.
Rotary International
MMM is the first Arch Klumph Society Member (AKS) of Rotary Internation District (RID) 3000. He has served as the District Governor in 2016-17 and as Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator - ARPIC (Zone-5) at the International level in 2020-21. He was the Chairman of MAHABS Zone Rotary Institute (2021) for Rotary Zones 4, 5, 6 & 7 held at Mahabalipuram, Tamilnadu.
MMM entered the Family of Rotary as a Rotaractor at the age of 16 and took charge as the District Rotaract Representative (DRR). He was awarded ‘Outstanding DRR in the World’ by Rotary International, USA.
He played a pivotal role in chartering the Rotary Club of Trichy BHEL City and took charge as its Charter President. The presidentship period turned out to be an overwhelming one winning laurels at the district level that included the Best President and Best Club awards. He was elected as one of the youngest District Governors in 2016-17 which was the silver jubilee year of his Rotary journey. He led vibrant Rotarians from the districts of Trichy, Karur, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Thuraiyur, Pudukkottai, Manapparai, Dindigul, Theni, Kodaikanal and Madurai.
In his Governorship, 14 Guinness World Records were attempted out of which 8 were declared officially. The Record attempts involved and motivated more than 2,00,000 youth. He commenced his governorship period with a heart-melting Guinness World Record attempt by special children.
On the closing day 30th June 2017, he became the first AKS member of RI District 3000. His present level of contribution to the Rotary Foundation is USD 3,50,000 (2.60 Cr).
He was the only one among 40 governors from India to be winning International accolades in Membership Development, Fund Collection & Contribution to the Rotary Foundation ($1.075 – 7.2 Cr Rupees) and Enhancing Public Image of Rotary.
He stood world Number 1 in Youth Service by chartering 99 Rotaract Clubs, 250 Interact Clubs, and 100 Rotary Community Corps during his governorship.
